Ngoc Ha Ward: Effective "Skilled Mass Mobilization" in preserving cultural heritage

On the morning of October 9, the Hanoi Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission coordinated with the Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ngoc Ha ward to organize the installation of a signboard for the "Skilled Mass Mobilization" project to restore and embellish the Dai Yen communal house relic, welcoming the 18th Congress of the Hanoi Party Committee.

Deputy Head of the Hanoi Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Vu Ha attended and awarded the certificate of recognition for the "Skilled Mass Mobilization" project to welcome the 18th Congress of the Hanoi Party Committee.

Dai Yen Communal House is a relic of special value, not only in terms of architectural art but also as a spiritual symbol, a place where the historical, cultural and religious traditions of the ancient land of Thap Tam Trai crystallized - the cultural cradle of Hanoi with thousands of years of civilization. Through the vicissitudes of time, the communal house still stands firm as a historical witness, quietly preserving the sacred values ​​left by our ancestors. However, the deterioration of the building is inevitable.

Vice Chairman of Ngoc Ha Ward People's Committee Do Ha Thanh said that, in response to the urgent need for heritage conservation and sustainable urban development, the project to restore and embellish Dai Yen communal house relic was approved by the People's Committee of Ba Dinh District (old) with a total investment of 22.91 billion VND from the state budget.

The project started construction in December 2023 with a planned area of ​​about 1,830 square meters, including key items such as: Restoring the Great Hall, Nghi Mon, Ta - Huu Vu, Stele House, Princess Ngoc Hoa's tomb; embellishing the landscape of the garden, technical infrastructure; building a new house for the custodian, kitchen, votive offering shrine... all carried out according to the principle of "Preserving the original - promoting value - preserving identity", ensuring harmony between traditional elements and contemporary needs.

After more than a year of construction, the project was completed on schedule in June 2025, ensuring quality, technique, and aesthetics, contributing to creating a spacious and solemn cultural and religious space, serving local people and tourists from all over.

The notable point of the project is the "Skilled Mass Mobilization" work, demonstrated through the spirit of "People know, people discuss, people do, people check, people benefit". During the implementation process, the government, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward and the cadres of residential areas No. 7 and No. 8 of Ngoc Ha ward mobilized people to actively participate in contributing their efforts, intelligence and resources, supporting the socialized amount of 830 million VND. This clearly demonstrates the sense of responsibility and trust of the people with the Party Committee and the ward government.

Not only is it a material contribution, the people's participation is also expressed through their hearts, pride and awareness of preserving the cultural heritage of their ancestors. This is the greatest success, a vivid proof of the effectiveness of the "Skilled Mass Mobilization" model, contributing to strengthening the great national unity bloc right from the grassroots.

Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Head of the Hanoi Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Vu Ha suggested that Ngoc Ha ward continue to pay attention and develop solutions to effectively manage, exploit and promote the value of Dai Yen communal house relic associated with the development of cultural and historical tourism , contributing to improving the spiritual life of the people, enriching the cultural life of the community, and contributing to building a civilized, modern and cultural capital.
