Tam Ky ward and Thang Dien commune are twinned with Tra Tap commune.

DNO - On the morning of September 12, at Tra Tap commune, the Party Committee of Tam Ky ward, Thang Dien commune and Tra Tap commune held a signing ceremony of a twinning program to support each other in comprehensive development and improve the quality of people's lives.

Attending the signing ceremony were Director of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions of Da Nang City Nguyen Manh Ha, Secretary of the Tam Ky Ward Party Committee Nguyen Thi Thu Lan, Secretary of the Thang Dien Commune Party Committee Nguyen Thi Tuyet Thanh, Secretary of the Tra Tap Commune Party Committee Ha Ra Dieu.

According to the content of the twinning agreement, Tam Ky ward, Thang Dien commune and Tra Tap commune regularly exchange experiences in building the grassroots political system. Tam Ky ward and Thang Dien commune take turns increasing cadres, civil servants and public employees to support Tra Tap commune in administrative reform, digital transformation, economic development, production and consumption of agricultural products and medicinal herbs.

The two delta localities also support Tra Tap commune in the fields of health, education , and social security. Every year, they coordinate to organize cultural, sports, and tourism activities, creating a healthy playground for officials and people, especially ethnic minorities. The parties also agreed to support in the fields of natural resources, environment, climate change response, poverty reduction, new rural construction, and civilized urban areas.

Tam Ky Ward and Thang Dien Commune aim to help Tra Tap Commune increase its average income from 25 million to 60 million VND/person/year, reduce the poverty rate to below 13% and strive to meet new rural standards by 2030.

On this occasion, localities and businesses including BIDV Bank - Quang Nam Branch supported 60 million VND to remove temporary houses; Phu Hien Lighting Trading and Service Company Limited and Tam Ky Market Management Board gave many gifts to poor households and disadvantaged students, and installed solar lights. The total value of gifts is nearly 150 million VND.
