Pleiku: 32 collectives and individuals were commended for the movement of the whole people to protect national security.

(GLO)- On the afternoon of August 18, the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Pleiku ward (Gia Lai province) held a meeting to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Vietnam People's Public Security (PPP) tradition day and the 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection.

At the meeting, delegates reviewed the glorious tradition of the People's Public Security Forces over 80 years of construction, fighting and growth; at the same time, acknowledged the important contributions of Pleiku Ward Police in ensuring security and order, launching the movement of the entire people to protect national security, effectively implementing Project 06 of the Government, contributing to maintaining political stability and local development.

Speaking at the meeting, Ward Party Secretary Nguyen Xuan Phuoc praised the results that the Ward Police force has achieved. At the same time, he suggested that in the coming time, the Ward Police force should continue to comprehensively innovate its work, proactively prevent, attack and suppress crimes, especially drug crimes and high-tech crimes; build a regular, elite and modern Police force in the spirit of Resolution 12-NQ/TW of the Politburo .

On this occasion, 1 individual of the ward received a certificate of merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; 2 collectives received certificates of merit from the Director of the Provincial Police; 6 collectives and 23 individuals received certificates of merit from the Chairman of the Pleiku Ward People's Committee for their outstanding achievements in the movement of the entire people to protect national security and organizing activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Vietnam People's Public Security's tradition day and the 20th anniversary of the festival of the entire people to protect national security.
