(Fatherland) - Quang Nam welcomes a group of 20 tourists from the Netherlands, Spain, Russia and Vietnam to join a journey to discover the beauty of Vietnam from North to South on the 5-star luxury train Sjourney.

On January 13, the leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Nam province said that they had just coordinated with Vietnam Railway Corporation , PYS Travel Company Limited and Duy Nhat Hoi An Service Tourism Company Limited to welcome a group of tourists to visit Quang Nam by luxury train (Sjourney) at Tra Kieu station, Duy Son commune, Duy Xuyen district.

Accordingly, the group of 20 guests from the Netherlands, Spain, Russia and Vietnam joined the journey to discover the beauty of Vietnam from North to South on the 5-star luxury train Sjourney. At Tra Kieu station, the group of tourists were warmly welcomed, given flowers, souvenirs and introduced to information about Quang Nam tourism .

After arriving in Quang Nam, the group visited some tourist attractions to learn about heritage, experience the countryside and craft villages of Quang Nam by Jeep, including Cam Phu - Go Noi Village (Dien Ban town) with the experience of Au Lac art wood carving; Thanh Ha pottery village, Cam Thanh village, Hoi An Ancient Town - World Cultural Heritage and enjoy local cuisine and shopping.

The leader of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Nam said that the activities within the framework of the memorandum of understanding on cooperation and promotion of tourism development between Quang Nam province and Vietnam Railways Corporation for the period 2024 - 2030, at the same time, create an impression for tourists about an attractive, safe, hospitable destination and contribute to promoting and introducing the image of people, culture and tourism of Quang Nam widely to domestic and foreign tourists, through the form of rail tourism.

It is known that the luxury train of Vietnam Railways will be put into operation at the end of December 2024, taking passengers on an 8-day, 7-night tour, with a weekly two-way schedule: SE61 from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City and SE62 from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi, stopping at famous destinations such as Ninh Binh, Quang Binh, Hue, Quang Nam, Nha Trang, Phan Thiet.
