Currently, under the influence of storm No. 12, heavy rains are occurring in Quang Ngai with increasing frequency. To ensure safety, Quang Ngai province has urgently evacuated people at the foot of Go Oat mountain to avoid landslides.

The crack on Go Oat mountain tends to widen, the risk of landslide is very high.

Previously, a large crack appeared on the slope of Go Oat mountain, about 1.2km from the residential areas of Bang Lang village, Ba Vinh commune, Quang Ngai province, about 100m long, 0.6m wide, 1m deep, and was showing signs of widening, posing a serious risk of landslides.

The People's Committee of Ba Vinh commune, Quang Ngai province, evacuated 61 households to the cultural house of Nuoc Sung village (old) and the cultural house of Hoc Do village to ensure the safety of life and property.

Currently, on-site forces are being deployed to monitor 24/7.
