Quang Ninh provides emergency support to people in the Central region to overcome the consequences of storm No. 10.

The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) of Quang Ninh province has decided to provide emergency support totaling 10 billion VND from the Provincial Relief Fund to promptly share and help people in the Central provinces overcome the severe consequences of storm No. 10 (Bualoi).

Of the 10 billion VND in support, Quang Ninh has allocated it to four provinces that suffered heavy damage. Of which, Ha Tinh received 4 billion, while the remaining three provinces, Nghe An, Thanh Hoa, and Quang Tri, each received 2 billion VND.

This support aims to contribute to the Party Committee, government and people of the Central provinces to overcome difficulties, soon stabilize life, restore production after natural disasters, promote the spirit of solidarity and "helping each other" of the nation.

Storm No. 10 not only seriously affected the Central provinces but also severely impacted some localities in Quang Ninh province. In Dam Ha commune, storm No. 10 blew off the roofs of 6 households, damaged many doors and injured 9 people (including 3 seriously injured people who had to be treated in hospital). The Quang Ninh Provincial Fatherland Front Committee promptly took measures to support affected households and individuals, helping them to overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.

Providing emergency support to the people of the Central region in this difficult time, along with overcoming the consequences of natural disasters in the locality, demonstrates the sense of responsibility, affection and deep sharing of the Party Committee, government, Fatherland Front and people of Quang Ninh province, contributing to spreading the spirit of solidarity and cohesion of the entire nation in the work of preventing and overcoming the consequences of natural disasters.

Previously, through the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, in August 2025, Quang Ninh joined hands to support Dien Bien and Son La provinces with 8 billion VND to overcome the consequences of natural disasters.
