
Quoc Truong said he has just become the first Vietnamese ambassador for Universal Pictures' horror blockbuster.
Accordingly, actor Quoc Truong was officially chosen by Universal Pictures as the film ambassador for the horror blockbuster Black Phone 2 , becoming the first Vietnamese artist to take on this role for a Hollywood film. This is an important milestone in the global promotion strategy of the major film studio, and at the same time marks a new step forward for the Vietnamese film market on the international map.
Sharing about this special opportunity, Quoc Truong expressed that when he received the invitation from Universal Pictures, he was really surprised and touched. This is not only a personal honor but also a sign that the Vietnamese audience and market are increasingly gaining a greater position in the eyes of international film studios. He is very proud to be able to represent the Vietnamese audience in this promotional campaign.
The actor also said that he has a natural affinity for villain roles and psychological horror films, so when he joined Black Phone 2 , he felt like he found a connection with the film's spirit. According to him, the horror genre not only brings fear but also arouses courage and the desire to overcome the darkness inside each person. That is also the reason why he especially loves works like this.

Born in 1988, Quoc Truong is known as one of the most beloved faces on the Vietnamese screen. He started out as a model, then made his mark through a series of TV series such as Pink Dress on the 24th Floor, If There Is Tomorrow, especially Come Home, My Child - the work that helped him become a "television phenomenon" in 2019 and brought home the Outstanding Vietnamese Artist award at the Asia Artist Awards (AAA).
The year 2025 marked Quoc Truong's prominent return to the big screen. He participated in the movie Chi nga em nang , co-starring with Le Khanh and not afraid to perform hot scenes. Before that, in June, he appeared in the horror movie Ut Lan: Oan linh to cua as a writer, and in March, he scored points when he and artist Hong Dao dubbed the movie Love Lies: Love for money, crazy for love .
In addition to art, he has built the image of a modern, talented and filial artist. From a difficult childhood selling lottery tickets and helping his mother sell goods, Quoc Truong has risen up with determination and now owns many real estates, including a villa in Ho Chi Minh City and a 700 m² house in Can Tho for his parents. After more than 15 years, he has become a typical face of effort and courage in the Vietnamese entertainment industry.
