Launching the book "Female soldiers of Truong Son, the Fatherland"

On the morning of December 16, the Executive Committee of the Truong Son - Ho Chi Minh Trail Tradition Association of the province and a group of authors held a meeting to introduce a new work entitled "Female Soldiers of Truong Son, Homeland".

The book "Truong Son Female Soldiers of the Ancestral Land" by author Vi Van Dinh - Head of the Liaison Committee of the Veterans Association of the 355th Division of the province and Mai Thi Tho - Head of the Liaison Committee of the Truong Son Female Soldiers (Truong Son - Ho Chi Minh Trail Tradition Association of the province) published by the National Culture Publishing House in 2024 includes 5 chapters: Chapter I - Stories from the military time on the Truong Son fire line; Chapter II - Forever the tradition of Truong Son female soldiers; Chapter III - Mementos of Truong Son female soldiers of the Ancestral Land; Chapter IV: Some pictures of the activities of the Liaison Committee of Truong Son Female Soldiers of Phu Tho province; Chapter V - Works praising Truong Son female soldiers.

The book is written in the form of a memoir about the lives and careers of 12 typical female soldiers of Truong Son Dat To, belonging to the Truong Son Female Soldier Battalion, who enlisted on August 24, 1973. They are brave, intelligent, and courageous women, ready to overcome all dangers and hardships to fight to protect the Fatherland; they are "pink shadows" with kind hearts, simple, sincere, and humane lifestyles,... The book is a vivid proof among thousands of other stories and images of the immortal Truong Son, aiming to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 * April 30, 2025) and the 66th anniversary of the opening of the Ho Chi Minh Trail - the traditional day of the Truong Son Troops (May 19, 1959 * May 19, 2025)

During the introduction, the delegates shared, contributed their opinions and analyzed the humanistic values ​​that the book brings. At the same time, they affirmed that the book “Female Soldiers of Truong Son Land” is a meaningful spiritual gift, honoring the noble tradition of “resilience, indomitability, loyalty, and bravery” of Vietnamese women in general and female veterans of Truong Son Land in particular. They are like “purple orchids” spreading their fragrance in the middle of the Truong Son range, beautifying life.
