Reviewing the progress of implementing activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Buon Ma Thuot Victory, the liberation of Dak Lak province and the Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival

On December 4, the Organizing Committee of the activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Buon Ma Thuot Victory, the liberation of Dak Lak province (March 10, 1975 - March 10, 2025) and the 9th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival in 2025 (referred to as the 50th anniversary activities and the Festival) held a meeting to review the progress of the implementation of the activities.

The 9th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival in 2025 will take place from March 9, 2025 to March 13, 2025, including the following main activities: Opening and Closing Ceremony; Exhibition Fair of coffee and OCOP products; Coffee making competition and coffee experience activities; Scientific seminar on coffee industry development; International trade conference - Connecting and elevating Vietnamese coffee; Art performances and cultural exchanges...

Up to now, preparations for the 50th anniversary and festival activities have been carried out as scheduled. Propaganda work has been intensified, and communication campaigns have been launched on mass media and social networks to promote the event. Authorities have developed effective coordination plans to ensure security and order during the activities.

Regarding the 50th anniversary activities, delegates focused on discussing the preparations for the rally, parade, and commemorative march. Accordingly, to ensure the schedule, the Organizing Committee will complete the selection of forces, establish parade and marching groups, and practice on their own from December 15, 2024. The parade and marching are expected to have 50 groups with forces from armed forces units, departments, branches, sectors, organizations, and units in the area. Regarding the scientific conference "50 years of Buon Ma Thuot victory - Historical values ​​and lessons", the Ministry of National Defense is currently coordinating with the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee to prepare for the organization and is expected to take place in early March 2025.

For the 9th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival in 2025, the highlight is the Street Festival which is expected to have many innovations with many impressive and unique programs, with the participation of the Military Region 5 band and the cavalry force of the Ministry of Public Security. The festival also has many activities related to international media and press organizations such as: Rock Band Festival; International Off-Road Car Racing "Challenge of the Great Forest - Buon Don 2025"; Light Festival using high-tech lighting combined with art performances is expected to attract enthusiastic response from the audience and spread positive energy to young people.
