(PLVN) - The 10th Buckwheat Flower Festival with the theme "Land of Missing Flowers" will officially take place from November 9 to 21, 2024 at the Youth Square of Dong Van district, Ha Giang province.
Currently, more than 250 hectares of buckwheat flowers have been planted in three planting seasons to ensure that the flowers are always bright throughout the festival season. Of which, more than 50 hectares of flowers at key locations are specially cared for, creating fresh flower carpets, ready to welcome visitors to enjoy and take photos. In particular, the festival also has a giant drumstick and flute, promising to bring impressive and meaningful spaces for visitors when coming to the festival season.
Along with ensuring safety in travel and accommodation, Ha Giang is implementing a number of measures to stimulate tourism recovery. In particular, the Ha Giang Tourism Association has called on members and tourism businesses to respond to the stimulus program, reducing service prices by 10-30%, the implementation period is from mid-September 2024 until the end of the peak tourist season in early February 2025.
The 10th Da Lat Flower Festival 2024, with the theme "Da Lat Flowers - Symphony of Colors", is expected to last 1 month, officially opening on December 5, 2024. Da Lat Flower Festival 2024 with flower spaces opened around Xuan Huong Lake, public parks (Yersin, Tran Hung Dao ...), along Nguyen Van Cu, Le Dai Hanh, Tran Quoc Toan streets.
Dalat Flower Festival is a cultural and tourism festival of Lam Dong to promote the image of culture, people, and tourism of Dalat - Lam Dong to domestic and international tourists; continue to affirm Dalat as the Flower Festival city of Vietnam, a creative city of UNESCO in the field of music , and one of the "Group of 5 impressive Festival cities of Asia". Dalat Flower Festival 2024 will create momentum for the tourism industry in achieving the target of 9.7 million tourists for the whole year; strive to have 12 million tourists coming to Lam Dong by 2025.
Flower festivals are not only an occasion to honor flowers but also an opportunity to promote local tourism development, generate income and promote the national cultural identity of local people.
