Taking advantage of favorable weather and abundant water resources, in recent days, people in the highland communes of the town have actively concentrated their human resources to go to the fields to sow the winter-spring rice crop in the best season.

Up to now, the whole town has planted over 98% of the area. The early-season rice areas in communes and wards such as: Muong Bo, Thanh Binh, Ban Ho, Lien Minh, Muong Hoa, Cau May... are currently growing strongly.

To ensure a successful winter-spring rice crop, the town's agricultural sector recommends that people proactively regulate adequate irrigation water, provide proper care, and regularly visit fields to promptly detect and take measures to prevent and control harmful pests and diseases to help rice plants grow and develop well.
