Colors of Purple Stream

Coming to Da Lat, most tourists know about Tuyen Lam Lake, but not many people know where the water flows into the lake, which is Tia Stream. Tia Stream is about 7km from the center of Da Lat city. Although the corner of the lake where Tia Stream flows into is in the same water system as Tuyen Lam Lake, it has a different beauty thanks to the water palm trees. This is a rare place in Da Lat with flooded forest trees.

The flooded acacia forest is most beautiful in autumn and winter. In autumn, the trees begin to shed their leaves, the canopy gradually changes from green to yellow and then falls, new buds grow, creating a mix of green and red, with clusters of yellow flowers.
