Digital journalism is a type of journalism that operates on a digital technology platform, from content creation, product production, business to distribution in a digital ecosystem.
To carry out digital transformation, the press needs to focus on tasks such as: raising awareness, perfecting laws, developing digital products and platforms, improving the quality of human resources, strengthening international cooperation and learning from experiences from developed countries.
Goals by 2030: 100% of press agencies put content on digital platforms; 90% of press agencies use centralized data analysis and processing platforms, applying artificial intelligence; 100% of press agencies operate a converged newsroom model; 50% of press agencies increase revenue by at least 20%; 100% of electronic press agencies have solutions to ensure information system safety and security at level 3 or higher.
The training conference helps change the mindset of journalists and managers, aiming to build a modern technology platform, optimize reader experience, develop online communities and apply appropriate business models to move towards successful digital transformation.
