Rural industrial products strive to find markets

Business efforts

Gia Bao Group Joint Stock Company (Binh Phuoc Ward) is an enterprise specializing in processing products from cashew trees. According to Mr. Tran Van Son, Director of the company, the Ba Tu Binh Phuoc Cashew Nuts brand was born from the desire to build a local cashew brand. Many of the company's products have been honored with certificates of typical rural industrial products. In 2025 alone, the company's cashew nuts in shell, cashew nuts with shell, dried macadamia nuts, and garlic and chili cashew nuts were certified as typical rural products at the national level.

Talking about the development path of the enterprise, Mr. Son said: The issue of building raw material sources is very important. Previously, Vietnamese cashew enterprises always had to buy cashews in countries such as Cambodia and Africa to have enough raw materials for production. With efforts, Gia Bao Group Joint Stock Company has built hundreds of hectares of raw cashew trees and the goal by 2030 is to develop to more than 1,000 hectares, at the same time building a specialized and methodical production chain.

The 2025 Exhibition of Typical Rural Industrial Products of the Southeast Region - Dong Nai will take place in Dong Nai from November 24 to 30, 2025. The Fair includes 250 booths, of which 120 booths display typical and unique rural industrial products, OCOP products of Dong Nai; 130 booths display products of provinces and cities across the country. The Fair is a place for enterprises and production establishments of Dong Nai, provinces and cities in the Southeast region and the whole country to meet, share experiences, connect trade, and support cooperation for development.

Mr. Ho Son Tu, Director of Ho Son Tu Trading and Service Company Limited (located in Xuan Hoa commune) said: His company specializes in manufacturing and trading wooden furniture. The company's products are consumed in many localities across the country. There are also ups and downs, but the company always strives to achieve its goals. Experience shows that, for product consumption, there are two important factors: quality and price. With the orientation of developing the local economy in the rural areas of Xuan Hoa commune, Mr. Ho Son Tu commented: From the existing potential and advantages, Xuan Hoa commune as well as enterprises have many opportunities for cooperation and development in the future. Enterprises will strive to increase production, business, and seek investment opportunities with the support and connection of the locality.

According to surveys from many enterprises, the current problem is that enterprises and rural industrial production facilities are all small in scale, both weak in terms of facilities and lacking in high-quality human resources, which leads to difficulty in competing and not being able to penetrate deeply into the international production chain. If enterprises themselves explore and find a development direction, it will take a long time, so they need more attention from state management agencies, building long-term strategies and having appropriate support policies.

Reaching out for development

Being certified as a typical rural industrial product at the provincial or more specifically national level is proof of the efforts of enterprises, this is the basis for many units to grow strongly.

Gia Bao Group Joint Stock Company has just inaugurated Ba Tu Binh Phuoc agricultural and food processing factory on September 19. With an investment capital of 6.5 million USD, the factory is a premise for the enterprise to accompany cashew farmers nationwide, contributing to building and maintaining the position of the national cashew brand in the international market. Mr. Tran Van Son shared: The enterprise is striving to improve its capacity to master technology, self-control in production and sustainable development strategy of the production ecosystem from raw material areas to factories and products. With a larger vision, the company also aims to build a cashew industrial cluster in Dong Nai to build a local cashew industry brand, reaching the world.

Similarly, Tuong Lai Company Limited (Long Thanh commune) is also one of the pioneers in bringing local processed and manufactured products into the production supply chain of world corporations and enterprises. The company specializes in manufacturing technical plastic products, technical rubber, components, auto parts, motorbikes and toys... Thanks to his acumen, Mr. Truong Quoc Cuong, Director of the company, boldly participated in the global supply chain program (SDP) sponsored by the World Bank. In 2020, this company completed the global supply chain program and the Samsung innovation program chaired by the Department of Industry under the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

According to Mr. Truong Quoc Cuong, integration and participation in product supply force enterprises to meet standards. Therefore, his enterprise has invested hundreds of billions of VND to upgrade equipment and machinery with the aim of improving product quality.
