This morning, August 19, the inauguration and groundbreaking ceremonies of projects and works to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam took place simultaneously in 34 provinces and cities across the country.

This is the largest groundbreaking and inauguration ceremony ever, including 89 projects inaugurated, 161 projects started, with a total investment of up to 1.28 million billion VND.

Of which, 478,000 billion VND is from the State capital for 129 projects (accounting for 37% of the total capital) and 802,000 billion VND is from 121 projects with other capital sources (accounting for 63% of the total capital). The ceremony was held online from the central point, the National Exhibition Fair Center (Dong Anh commune, Hanoi ) to 79 points in the localities, and broadcast live on VTV1.

According to the Ministry of Construction , the inauguration and commencement of large-scale projects will contribute to creating momentum and momentum for the country's socio-economic development; strengthening regional connectivity; creating jobs and livelihoods for people and improving people's lives. In particular, the 250 projects that have been started and inaugurated will contribute over 18% of GDP in 2025 and over 20% of GDP in the following years. Projects using state budget capital will create a strategic infrastructure framework to guide private investment.
