With the theme "Da Nang - 50-year journey", the campaign to compose songs about Da Nang city in 2025 organized by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Da Nang has received positive responses from many artists and authors inside and outside the city.
After more than 3 months of implementation, the Organizing Committee has received 106 works from 70 authors from 19 provinces and cities across the country. The works were selected by experienced and dedicated musicians such as: Musician Nguyen Duc Trinh, Chairman of the Vietnam Musicians Association; Musician Bui Huy Tuan; Musician Tran Ai Nghia; Musician Tran Xuan Tien; Musician Nguyen Xuan Minh.
At the ceremony, 12 prizes were awarded to authors with excellent works including 1 first prize, 2 second prizes, 3 third prizes and 6 consolation prizes. In which, the first prize belonged to author Nguyen Phuoc Vu Bao with the work “Da Nang welcomes you”.

The work “Oh Da Nang” by Do Hoang Linh (music) – Pham Hong Diep (poetry) and the work “See you in Da Nang” by Nguyen Quynh Hop (music) – Ho Minh (poetry) both won second prize.
In addition, there were 6 award-winning works staged by Trung Vuong Theater, performed to the public right at the closing and award ceremony. These are typical works with artistic value, capable of entering life, contributing to enriching the city's music treasure, serving well the work of propaganda, promotion and improving the spiritual life of the people.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoi An, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Da Nang, said that the songs expressed deep feelings and pride in the city's historical traditions, culture, people, as well as its aspirations for development and integration in the new era.

“The campaign to compose songs about Da Nang City in 2025 is a meaningful journey - not only connecting hearts that love music and the city, but also contributing to arousing pride and love for the homeland in each citizen,” Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoi An shared.
