HNP - On September 25, the Women's Union of Dai Thanh commune held its first Congress for the 2025-2030 term, with 116 official delegates who are outstanding women representing cadres and members in the whole commune.

The 1st Congress of Women's Delegates of Dai Thanh Commune has the task of summarizing and evaluating comprehensively and objectively the women's movement and the results of implementing the Resolution of the Congress of Women's Delegates of the Commune for the period 2021 - 2025, seriously reviewing the limitations and shortcomings, drawing practical lessons, on that basis deciding on the goals, tasks and solutions for the term 2025 - 2030.

In the period of 2021 - 2025, the women's movement and activities of the Women's Union at all levels have closely followed the political tasks of Thanh Tri district (old) and Dai Thanh commune (new), successfully completing the targets and objectives set out in the Resolution of the Congress with 8/8 Targets were met and exceeded, many of which were greatly exceeded.

From emulation movements and campaigns, many projects and models have been effectively implemented by the Association at all levels, such as: Building and repairing charity shelters for women members in especially difficult circumstances; mobilizing over 465.8 million VND each year, giving over 800 gifts to members and women in difficult circumstances and giving scholarships and school supplies to orphans and disabled children who have overcome difficulties to study; maintaining and upgrading self-managed women's roads, green, clean, beautiful and exemplary flower roads; every year, over 86.5% of households meet the "5 no, 3 clean" standards, 90% of members achieve the title of "Loyalty - Creativity - Responsibility - Elegance", etc. Vocational training activities, job creation, supporting women in sustainable economic development, poverty reduction and legitimate enrichment have contributed to ensuring social security.

At the Congress, delegates listened to comments to clarify the results achieved in the past term, and at the same time proposed experiences and solutions to successfully implement the goals and tasks in the 2025 - 2030 term.

Speaking at the Congress, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Dai Thanh Commune Tran Thi Van congratulated and commended the results and achievements that the Women's Union at all levels of the commune have achieved in the past time.

Agreeing with 06 groups of targets, 02 breakthroughs, 05 key tasks and solutions presented in the Political Report submitted to the Congress, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Dai Thanh commune suggested that, immediately after the Congress, the Executive Committee of the Women's Union of the commune should deploy propaganda and develop working regulations, programs and plans to implement the Resolution to ensure practicality and effectiveness, associated with the implementation of the Resolutions of the Congresses of the Women's Union at all levels, Resolutions of the Party Congresses at all levels, Resolutions of the Congress, Programs and Projects of the Party Committee and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dai Thanh commune, term 2025 - 2030.

In particular, focus on building a team of Union officials with qualifications, capacity, skills to mobilize women, enthusiasm for Union work, closeness, understanding of women, saying what they do, applying information technology, digital transformation in Union activities.

At the same time, proactively and actively participate in building a strong Party, government and political system; carry out supervision, social criticism and dialogue in a substantive manner, thereby grasping and promptly resolving proposals and recommendations, protecting the legitimate rights and interests of women. Pay attention to doing a good job of planning and creating a source of Association cadres, proactively advising and proposing on female cadre work to meet the requirements of women's mobilization work in the new period.

Strengthen propaganda and mobilization work for female cadres and members to continue effectively implementing emulation movements and campaigns; improve the effectiveness of the women's economic development model.

Constantly innovate the content and methods of operation of the Association, build an increasingly strong and comprehensive Association. Continue to persevere with the motto of action: "The Central Government sets the strategic direction, the province applies it creatively, the commune has a firm grasp of the members, the branch understands women", and: "Where there are women, there are Association activities".

With the spirit of "Solidarity - Innovation - Creativity - Development", 100% of the delegates attending the Congress unanimously approved the Report summarizing comments on the draft documents of the Women's Congress at higher levels; and passed the Resolution of the Congress. The Congress announced the Decision of the Standing Committee of the Hanoi Women's Union on the appointment of: Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Chairman, Vice Chairman, Inspection Committee, Head of the Inspection Committee of the Women's Union of Dai Thanh commune for the term 2025 - 2030. Comrade Nguyen Thi Thu Ha continues to hold the position of Chairman of the Women's Union of the commune.
