HNP - On September 25, the Veterans Association of Tay Phuong commune solemnly held the Congress of Delegates for the 2025-2030 term, with 170 official delegates representing 2,726 members of the entire commune.

During the 2022-2025 term, the Tay Phuong Commune Veterans Association has continuously consolidated and developed both in terms of organization and quality of activities, affirming its role as a reliable political force of the local Party Committee, government and people.

The Association organized 50 legal dissemination sessions for nearly 7,813 members; the rate of members participating in studying the Party's resolutions and directives reached 95%; the mobilization to build a team fund reached 2,416 billion VND, an average of 948,200 VND/member. Through 21 loan groups with a total outstanding debt of 52,379 billion VND, creating conditions for many member families to have the conditions to rise up and get rich.

Charity and social security activities were closely concerned. The Association visited and presented gifts to 541 members in difficult circumstances worth more than 186 million VND; celebrated the longevity of 657 members; organized 1,003 trips to the source. The Association and its members contributed 327.3 million VND to charity and humanitarian funds. In the new rural construction movement, 2,444 members were mobilized to participate in environmental sanitation, 14 skillful mass mobilization models were built; and 27 traditional education sessions were coordinated for 25,000 students. In addition, cultural and sports movements were organized regularly, attracting a large number of members to participate.

Also during the last term, the Association admitted 450 new members (reaching 115% of the target), maintaining 100% of branches that completed their tasks well. In the 2025-2030 term, the Association sets the goal of continuing to promote the tradition of "Loyalty - Solidarity - Exemplary - Innovation", building a strong and comprehensive Association organization; striving for 100% of members to be steadfast in political ideology, 97% of members' families to achieve cultural titles, the average branch fund to reach 1 million VND/member; each year, 20% of branches complete their tasks excellently.

In the 2025-2030 term, the Association sets the goal of continuing to promote the tradition of "Loyalty - Solidarity - Exemplary - Innovation", building a strong and comprehensive Association organization.

At the same time, it is proposed that in the new term, the Commune Veterans Association continue to promote the spirit of solidarity and exemplary behavior, innovate the content of activities, take better care of members' lives, and link the emulation movement of exemplary veterans with the tasks of local socio-economic development.
