After the landslide occurred, the authorities promptly informed the local people to take timely response measures. At the same time, implementing the "4 on-site" principle, combining with machinery to temporarily reinforce the locations of landslides, breaks, and water overflowing the dike. Up to now, the above locations have been basically temporarily repaired by the locality.

Currently, the water is still flooding the orchards of some households, but it is not yet possible to count the directly affected area or assess the specific damage. The Commune People's Committee is urgently mobilizing local forces to support households in pumping and draining, in order to minimize damage.

According to the Department of Agriculture and Environment, the Project of embankment to prevent riverbank erosion in Quoi Thien commune has not been considered by the Central Government and has not yet allocated funding for implementation. Currently, the People's Committee of Quoi Thien commune does not have the funding to carry out the project of reinforcing and repairing the embankment erosion.

The Department of Agriculture and Environment recommends that the Provincial People's Committee assign the Provincial Agricultural Project Management Board to coordinate with relevant units to advise the Provincial People's Committee to continue to request the Central Government to consider and arrange funding from the central budget to soon implement the Project of embankment to prevent riverbank erosion in Quoi Thien commune.
