Overview of the working session
According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoang Lan, Director of the Center for Digital Transformation of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Head of the Editorial Board of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism's Electronic Information Portal, Head of the Organizing Committee, after half of the contest, the related work has basically been completed. As of October 10, 2025, the Organizing Committee has received 220 videos /clips for the two categories of short videos and long videos. Of which, the content department has reviewed the videos that meet the quality criteria and posted 146 videos on the contest page (68 videos in the short video category, 78 videos in the long video category).

Posts related to the contest theme received enthusiastic responses from the community.
Based on the qualified and quality videos, the relevant departments have completed posting and counting votes for the first round of videos. After the voting period (from 00:00 on October 1, 2025 to 24:00 on October 8, 2025), the rankings in each category have "had owners". These awards will be presented at the announcement and final awards ceremony.
Regarding communication work, in addition to promoting on official press and television channels, the Organizing Committee of the contest has focused on spreading information on social networking platforms.
On Facebook alone, through the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism's Electronic Information Portal page, the total number of interactions and views of posts related to the topic of the Video/Clip Creation Contest "Impressions of Vietnam Tourism" in 2025 has reached more than 600 thousand views.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoang Lan, Director of the Center for Digital Transformation of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Head of the Editorial Board of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism's Electronic Information Portal, spoke at the working session.
It is expected that in the urgent period from now until the contest deadline, with the number of works continuing to be submitted, the number of interactions and views will continue to increase, proving the popularity of the contest.
It is known that in the coming period, in addition to launching the contest more deeply and widely to schools and localities, the Organizing Committee will actively plan the content, prepare for the judging, and at the same time prepare the necessary items, and plan for the Award Ceremony (expected to take place in early December 2025).


Mr. Nguyen Van Tan, Permanent Vice President of Vietnam Cinema Association and Mr. Nguyen Hong Hai, Vice President of Vietnam Tourism Association spoke at the working session.
At the meeting, representatives of the Organizing Committee members gave their opinions, initially appreciating the communication work as well as the quality of the entries and expressing their high agreement with the preparation plan for the next phase.
Comments also suggested that the Organizing Committee should focus on perfecting the identity system, communication activities, award ceremonies... thereby creating a brand and creating momentum for the competition in the coming years.
Concluding the meeting, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoang Lan thanked the members for their contributions and affirmed that, after launching, the contest has attracted strong attention from the community. The number of videos submitted to the contest continues to increase, showing great spread. In addition, the quality of the videos has also been invested in and carefully and meticulously by the authors.
"The success of the contest will contribute to promoting and affirming the national tourism brand, creating a premise for the next plans and roadmaps" - Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoang Lan emphasized at the working session.
It is known that the time to receive works of the "Vietnam Tourism Impressions" Video/Clip Creation Contest in 2025 will continue to last until November 15, 2025.
