During our visit to Malaysia, we got to see many magnificent architectures, which are also unique cultural marks of your country…

Putra Mosque, also known as the Pink Mosque, is likened to a giant and beautiful ruby in the center of Kuala Lumpur city. This project was inaugurated in 1999 with a capacity of 15,000 people, always an attractive destination for tourists from near and far.

The architecture has a distinctive Malaysian Islamic style. Outside, the tower is over 100 meters high, has 5 floors symbolizing the 5 pillars of Islam, pink dome, the main building material is granite, majestic and highly aesthetic, massive, solemn and splendid, becoming a very unique symbol of the national religion of Malaysia.

Pustra Mosque.

Visitors are allowed to enter the mosque but must comply with strict dress codes. Although the interior of the mosque is not as decorated as the exterior, it is still majestically beautiful and elegant, with many open spaces. This may be due to the concept of Muslims. They believe that their supreme being, Allah, is present everywhere, manifested in many different forms, not specifically in any image, so there are no paintings or sculptures depicting Allah.

Our tour guide informed us: Malaysia has 13 states, each state has a sultan under a centralized system, passed from father to son. The great king (king) of Malaysia will be elected by the council of sultans, with a term of 5 years. Whoever is elected king will move to the palace with his family, and after the term ends, he will return to his old place. The current king is from the border state of Johor, adjacent to Singapore. Although Malaysia is a constitutional monarchy, the king is more ceremonial and symbolic than real power.

The Royal Palace was built in 1927 with an architecture that combines Malay and Islamic styles, so it is both large and sophisticated.

Although the weather was hot and sunny, it still could not stop thousands of tourists from flocking to visit the royal palace. A luxurious and splendid palace is also worth the tourists who travel thousands of miles to admire.

The palace was guarded by a team of guards similar to the musketeers. We arrived at the side door of the palace gate. Before we could admire a pretty female musketeer riding a purple horse gracefully, it was time to change the guard. A tourist who seemed knowledgeable said: “The sun is strong, the horses will go into the air-conditioned resting room, but the guards will still be on guard.” Now I understand why the horses guarding the palace here are happier than the guards!

Batu Caves, more than 10 km from the capital Kuala Lumpur, is considered the most sacred place for Hindus.

According to legend, according to Ramayana, this is where the god Rama and his wife Sita once lived. Visitors coming here will hear the story of two brothers of a king. One day, to test their talents and also to pass on the throne, their parents told their two sons to travel around the world to find the most precious things to bring back to their parents. Whoever returned first would inherit the throne. The older brother traveled around the world for 272 days looking for the most precious things to bring back, but the younger brother inherited the throne. The parents explained to the older brother: "While you were traveling around the world, your younger brother brought two chairs for your parents to sit on and said: There is nothing more precious in this world than your parents, so you don't have to search anywhere. Your parents passed the throne to you because of your correct thinking." After hearing this, the older brother became angry and refused to accept it. The younger brother, afraid of damaging their relationship, went to Batu Cave to pray sincerely. The older brother regretted calling his younger brother back but couldn't. Feeling sorry for his younger brother, he stood guard outside the entrance of Batu Cave...

Currently, on the right side of the Batu cave entrance is a giant statue of Lord Murugan, 42.7 m high, guarding the peaceful life of the people. Every year, in the 7th lunar month, Malaysian people, especially Hindus, come here because they believe that at that time Batu cave will connect with the spiritual world of prisoners on death row, so their souls will be liberated and forgiven. The golden statue of the god stands out among the green of nature, a unique work of art of Hindu religious symbolism.

In particular, although it is a legend, when building Batu Temple, people still built exactly 272 steps, corresponding to the number of days the elder brother traveled around the world. The lesson of filial piety and brotherly love will never be forgotten.

There is a saying in Malaysia that if you come to Kuala Lumpur and do not visit the Petronas Twin Towers, you have not been to this country. This shows how influential this symbol is in the daily lives of the people and tourists.

Petronas Twin Towers.

The numbers from this twin skyscraper are enough to make many people dizzy: the tower is 452 m high, each tower has 88 floors, a total of 32,000 windows... Since its inception in 1999, this tower has become a symbol of the capital Kuala Lumpur. This is also a unique architecture combining modern style with Islamic style, likened to two diamonds in the sky of Kuala Lumper.

The tour guide added: “Renting an office here is incredibly expensive. But many companies still find ways to rent it, because once they rent this place to do business, it is considered as having built up their brand to some extent.”
