Hanoi Department of Education and Training directs to resolve the issue of parents 'surrounding' schools, ensuring students' rights

Accordingly, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training requested the Department of Education and Training of Nam Tu Liem district to advise the district leaders to research and organize plans to ensure the legitimate learning rights of students in accordance with regulations.

At the same time, strengthen information and propaganda to mobilize parents to clearly understand the regulations of the industry, and confidently prepare the best conditions for their children to enter the new school year 2024-2025.

On the afternoon of August 21, Head of the Department of Education and Training of Nam Tu Liem District Bui Ngoc Kinh said that the department representative had distributed application forms for parents of students who wish to apply.

The Department will synthesize information, classify subjects, count the number and specific wishes; at the same time, review the teaching organization conditions of Tay Mo 3 Primary School, from there report and advise the district leaders on solutions according to the direction of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training.

Tay Mo 3 Primary School is a public school that has just been separated from Tay Mo Primary School and is for children of local people, going into operation from the 2024-2025 school year.

Through a quick survey by the Department of Education and Training of Nam Tu Liem district, there are currently three main groups wishing to study at Tay Mo 3 Primary School, including:

First, students in grades 2, 3, 4, and 5 from neighboring schools requested to transfer to the new school (a preliminary survey at Ly Nam De Primary School found 233 students requested to transfer).

Second, students from other provinces and districts have just moved to live in apartment buildings.

Third, students entering grade 1 this year but did not apply to the school during the 2024-2025 school year admission period.

Earlier this morning (August 21), hundreds of parents of students with permanent residence in Tay Mo ward, Nam Tu Liem district, Hanoi city were present at Tay Mo 3 Primary School, demanding to confront the school about the information that their children were not admitted.
