Cuban National Assembly Chairman visits Ho Chi Minh City University of Technical Education

(NLDO)- President of the Cuban National Assembly Juan Esteban Lazo Hernández visited and worked at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technical Education, strengthening Vietnam - Cuba cooperation.

On the morning of October 3, a high-ranking delegation of the Cuban People's Government led by Mr. Juan Esteban Lazo Hernández, President of the Cuban National Assembly and President of the Cuban Council of State, visited and worked at the Ho Chi Minh City University of Technical Education. The delegation was welcomed by Mr. Nguyen Van Loi, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Ho Chi Minh City.

Speaking at the reception, Mr. Nguyen Van Loi said that Ho Chi Minh City University of Technical Education is one of the leading universities in science, technology, engineering..., especially in applying high technology in industry and agriculture .

As the leading economic , cultural, scientific and technological force of the whole country, Ho Chi Minh City clearly identifies its responsibility in cultivating, contributing, and preserving traditional cooperation and comprehensive cooperation with the Cuban government and people.

At the reception event, there was also a demonstration of Drone applications in agriculture by the Smart Robot Center. At the same time, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technical Education also displayed Drone lines researched and developed by the Smart Robot Center and the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, providing a visual perspective of 4.0 technology in agricultural production applications.

Choosing Ho Chi Minh City University of Technical Education as the destination for this working trip demonstrates Cuba's deep trust in the university's research potential, academic reputation and pioneering role in training, research and technology transfer.
