Son La Provincial Department of Foreign Affairs submits documents to the provincial historical archives.

Implementing Plan No. 115/KH-SNV dated January 17, 2025 of the Department of Home Affairs on the implementation of the Project to collect documents of agencies and organizations that are sources of submission to the Provincial Historical Archives for the period 2020-2025, in 2025. On May 21, 2025, the Department of Foreign Affairs of Son La province submitted to the Provincial Historical Archives 339 boxes of documents with 887 records, equivalent to 48.42 meters of document shelves. This is an important part of the document block of the Department of Foreign Affairs of Son La province, focusing on documents related to the Project to increase the density and embellish the Vietnam - Laos border marker system, documents on the construction of the Housing project, the Marker Planting Team's office, the marker storage warehouse and the Headquarters of the Department of Foreign Affairs.

The submission of documents to the Provincial Historical Archives, especially the Documents related to the Project of increasing the thickness and embellishing the Vietnam-Laos border marker system, is an important content in the archival work of the Department. These documents are not only historical evidence of territorial sovereignty but also an indispensable source of information for border management, national defense and security and scientific research.

The Provincial Historical Archives Center and the Department of Foreign Affairs carry out the delivery and submission of records and documents.

After receiving the documents from the Department of Foreign Affairs, the Son La Provincial Historical Archives Center will carry out the necessary professional steps to effectively serve the exploitation and promotion of the value of archival documents./.
