Storms No. 10 and No. 11 caused heavy losses in human lives and property in Cao Bang province, seriously affecting people's lives and causing environmental sanitation problems. Many areas were flooded and landslides, posing a high risk of environmental pollution and water resources.

In order to share the difficulties with Cao Bang province , the Department of Health of Gia Lai province sent a medical working group of 31 members to support the provincial health sector in overcoming the consequences of storms and floods. On the day of the launch, 20 teams with 90 medical staff from the two provinces deployed disinfectant spraying in wards in the province to carry out environmental sanitation and disease prevention . At the same time, they guided people in flooded areas to continue implementing environmental treatment measures and water treatment according to the instructions of the Ministry of Health.

The goal of the coordination plan is to promptly handle the environment and water resources in areas at risk of pollution, preventing disease outbreaks after the storm. The support of human resources, equipment and chemicals from Gia Lai province is a valuable resource, demonstrating the spirit of mutual love, helping Cao Bang province to quickly overcome the difficult period, contributing to health care and stabilizing the lives of the people.

Cao Bang Department of Health has developed a detailed plan to closely coordinate with the Gia Lai Provincial Department of Health Working Group , ensuring safety and maximizing the effectiveness of support resources. Units under the Department of Health and commune and ward authorities participate in reviewing and identifying locations that need urgent treatment.

According to the plan, the delegation will continue to support environmental disinfection and water treatment in communes and wards in the province at risk of environmental pollution and water pollution caused by storm No. 10 and storm No. 11 until October 17, 2025.
