Exciting traditional boat racing on Cu De River, Da Nang

This is one of the unique traditional cultural festivals of the people of Da Nang city, attracting thousands of local people to participate... contributing to strengthening solidarity and friendly exchanges between localities and units, and is a source of encouragement for people in the river region to enthusiastically participate in sports training.

This year's Lien Chieu District Boat Race gathered 120 athletes from 4 men's boat teams and 4 women's boat teams, from the following units: Cam Le district, Ngu Hanh Son district, Hoa Bac and Hoa Lien communes of Hoa Vang district, Hoa Hiep Nam and Hoa Hiep Bac wards of Lien Chieu district.

The atmosphere along the banks of the Cu De River and on Nam O Bridge was extremely vibrant and exciting with the cheers of locals and tourists.

In the final result, the men's boat team of Hoa Hiep Bac (Lien Chieu district) and the women's boat team of Ngu Hanh Son district won the championship.
