Vietnamese start-up cooperates with Singaporean group to provide aircraft security services

Vietnamese startup VinCSS cooperates with Singaporean enterprises to provide vulnerability assessment and penetration testing services for aircraft and other smart vehicles.

On August 26, the cyber security company VinCSS announced that it has just signed a memorandum of understanding with ST Engineering Info-Security, a member of ST Engineering - a leading technology, defense and engineering group in Singapore. Accordingly, VinCSS will research and integrate its passwordless strong authentication solution FIDO2 (Fast IDentity Online) and FDO (FIDO Device Onboarding) into ST Engineering Info-Security's products. In particular, the Vietnamese start-up and its partner will cooperate to provide security vulnerability assessment and penetration testing (VAPT) services for aircraft and other smart vehicles. In return, the partner will provide VinCSS with access to the most advanced cyber security solutions, including the WizKnight Cloud remote working security solution, the SCALE mobile computing security solution and artificial intelligence applications in analyzing cyber security data. The cooperation helps expand the cybersecurity ecosystem of both VinCSS and ST Engineering Info-Security, enhancing their response capabilities and reaching a wider market in the Asia- Pacific region. Mr. Goh Eng Choon, president of cybersecurity at ST Engineering, highly appreciated the cooperation with VinCSS and expected to address increasingly complex cybersecurity challenges, enhance defense capabilities and ensure solid protection of customers' assets. “Robust cybersecurity solutions are paramount to protect sensitive data and build trust in today's digital landscape. We must proactively predict, prevent and protect our networks and systems against increasingly widespread attacks,” said Mr. Goh Eng Choon.
