On September 8, the An Giang Provincial Police Security Investigation Agency announced that it had issued a decision to prosecute the case, prosecute the accused, and issue a temporary detention order for Le Van Mang (born in 1972, residing in Prey Chay commune, Koh Thum district, Kandal province, Kingdom of Cambodia), to investigate the act of organizing illegal exit and entry for others.

Through investigation, it was determined that in July 2025, Le Van Mang participated in a ring that brought people without passports to Cambodia to gamble on cockfighting, and was paid 400,000 - 500,000 VND/day.

On August 16, 2025, under the direction of the cockfighting arena owner, Mang used a boat to take 9 people from the foot of Long Binh bridge, Khanh Binh commune ( An Giang province) to Cambodia to gamble, then returned to Vietnam and was discovered by An Giang Provincial Police.

On August 19, 2025, knowing that he could not hide his actions, Mang went to the An Giang Provincial Police Investigation Security Agency to surrender and confessed to all his crimes.
