
With the spirit of "mutual love" and "helping each other", Hung Yen people have donated many necessities and money to flooded areas, making a small contribution to ease the hardships in the areas affected by the floods.
After several days of calling for support from the people and philanthropists, on the night of October 11, the volunteer team of Nhu Quynh commune (Hung Yen) packed necessities: drinking water, instant noodles, rice and loaded them onto large trucks. The convoy departed early in the morning of October 12, carrying gifts from Nhu Quynh commune including: Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Police Youth Union and Commune Youth Union and Minh Khai village (Nhu Quynh), promptly delivering them to some families severely affected by floods in Phu Binh commune (Thai Nguyen). The group gave 200 gifts (total value of 110,000,000 VND), supported 5 families whose houses were swept away by floods (12 million VND each) and supported 10 other families in difficult circumstances. The total value of volunteer activities is estimated at 180 million VND.
Similarly, after launching a campaign to support flood victims, from 9 to 10 a.m. on October 11, the Fatherland Front Committee of Van Giang commune (Hung Yen) received more than 2.4 tons of rice, 362 boxes of instant noodles, 15 boxes of milk, 207 boxes and cartons of drinking water, and modern medicine.
There were also many other necessities such as sugar, cakes, dry food, moon cakes, soap, MSG, toilet paper, toothpaste, towels, notebooks... Immediately after that, dozens of volunteers lined up to pass the above necessities to a large waiting truck, transporting them to the flood victims in Tan Khanh and Phu Binh communes (Thai Nguyen). The total value of the relief was over 100 million VND.
According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Quy, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Van Giang commune, in addition to the above goods; after launching, up to now, local people and philanthropists have continued to support, so in the next 1-2 days, the commune will organize to bring relief goods to Cao Bang province, to help people affected by floods.
On the morning of October 11, a volunteer group from Me Ha village, Viet Yen commune (Hung Yen) also went to Bac Ninh province to promptly give meaningful gifts, demonstrating the spirit of "mutual love", "helping each other", contributing to sharing difficulties with people in flood-affected areas.
With a kind heart and national love, Anh Duong (Trieu Viet Vuong) educational facility mobilized 3 pickup trucks, 1 2.5 ton truck and 1 5 ton truck, transporting about 8-9 tons of goods and necessities to Thai Nguyen province to support people in flood-affected areas.
Sharing the difficulties with people in areas affected by natural disasters, on October 10, a working delegation of Hung Yen Provincial Police visited and presented gifts to families affected by storm No. 10 in Truong Luu Commune ( Ha Tinh ). On behalf of the leaders and officers of Hung Yen Provincial Police, Colonel Nguyen Thanh Son, Deputy Director of Hung Yen Provincial Police, presented 100 million VND to support the locality in overcoming the consequences of the storm; at the same time, presented many practical gifts to households in difficult circumstances, severely damaged by the storm.
Colonel Nguyen Thanh Son shared that, with the spirit of "mutual love" and "helping each other", officers and soldiers of Hung Yen Provincial Police always turn to the people of the Central region and areas affected by natural disasters, wishing to contribute a small part to help people overcome difficulties, stabilize their lives and restore production. He believes that with the efforts of the local government and people, and the joint efforts of the whole country, Truong Luu commune will soon overcome the consequences of natural disasters and continue to carry out socio -economic development tasks in the locality.
In Hung Yen province in recent days, many volunteer groups and dozens of communes have donated goods and cash to send to people in flood-hit areas. Although the gifts are small, they show the hearts of Pho Hien people to their fellow countrymen in times of trouble.
