Strengthening measures to manage passenger car drivers

The Department of Construction has just issued an official dispatch on strengthening measures to ensure traffic safety and strictly managing drivers of units operating passenger transport by car.

Accordingly, passenger transport business units by car are required to strictly comply with the provisions of the Road Law, the Law on Road Traffic Order and Safety 2024 and regulations on conditions for passenger transport business by car.

The head of the transport business unit must enhance his/her responsibility in managing the unit's transport activities; arrange for officers and employees to regularly monitor the operation of the unit's drivers and vehicles during the entire process of transporting passengers through data from journey monitoring devices and surveillance cameras mounted on the vehicle to promptly correct and remind the driver when detecting the vehicle speeding or driving continuously for too long.

Traffic Police Department officers ( Dak Lak Provincial Police) administratively check the driver of a passenger bus.

Bus station management units must fully comply with legal regulations for bus stations in managing passenger transport activities by car; strengthen inspection and control of the technical condition of vehicles before leaving the station.

The Department of Transport Management (Department of Construction) strengthens inspection and supervision of compliance with legal regulations related to business activities and conditions for automobile transport business at transport business units to promptly advise the Department's leaders to issue corrective documents and take measures to handle violators.

The Department of Infrastructure Development (Department of Construction) is assigned to review and supplement the road signaling system and organize traffic reasonably and scientifically on national highways and local roads under its management; enhance the safety features of the traffic infrastructure system in areas with complex traffic conditions...
