Ea Kiet Commune trains on reviewing poor and near-poor households

On October 8, the People's Committee of Ea Kiet commune organized a training course on reviewing poor and near-poor households in 2025 for more than 70 officials in charge of poverty reduction, heads of villages, hamlets, and investigators in the commune.

At the training session, officers were informed and guided on the process and methods of reviewing and classifying poor households, near-poor households and households with average living standards, according to the multidimensional poverty standards for the period 2022 - 2025; were instructed on how to collect, synthesize information, fill out survey forms and enter data on the poor household management software system, ensuring accuracy, objectivity and compliance with regulations.

Speaking at the training session, Mr. Vo Sy Tung, Chairman of the People's Committee of Ea Kiet Commune, said: The work of reviewing poor households is an important basis for implementing social security policies and supporting people to escape poverty sustainably. To ensure accuracy, the team of investigators and village and hamlet officials need to uphold their sense of responsibility and follow the correct procedures. Through the training session, officials and trainees will consolidate their knowledge and improve their professional skills, ensuring that the review of poor and near-poor households in 2025 is carried out fairly, publicly, transparently and accurately reflects the real situation of people's lives; contributing to the effective implementation of poverty reduction work in the area, towards the goal of leaving no one behind.
