Strengthening traffic order and safety in the last months of 2025

On October 13, An Giang Provincial Police held a conference to deploy a plan to launch a peak period to ensure traffic order and safety in the province. The peak period to ensure traffic order and safety will be implemented from October 15 to November 30, 2025. The Traffic Police force will strengthen coordination in propagating and mobilizing people to comply with the law and actively participate in ensuring traffic order and safety. In particular, focusing on raising awareness and responsibility of traffic participants in complying with the provisions of the law on traffic safety.

At the same time, step up patrolling, controlling and handling violations of traffic safety and order, focusing on checking and strictly handling violations that are the main causes of traffic accidents, such as: Violating alcohol and drug concentrations; running red lights, speeding, lanes, road sections, going in the wrong direction, overtaking in violation of regulations; expanding, overloading, oversizing; weaving, swerving, illegal racing... The process of handling violations is thorough, without evasion, in accordance with the spirit of "respect for the law", "no forbidden zones, no exceptions".

Concluding the conference, Major General Nguyen Van Han, member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee and Director of the Provincial Police Department, requested the police force of the whole province to strictly implement the peak of ensuring traffic order and safety. At the same time, perform well the advisory role for Party committees and authorities at all levels to strengthen leadership and direction in ensuring traffic order and safety, focusing on drastic solutions to reduce traffic accidents in the last months of 2025.

Actively prevent and effectively combat all types of crimes and law violations on traffic routes, contributing to ensuring security, order and traffic safety in the province, serving the needs of traveling, transporting passengers, goods, etc. to serve the people, especially during the holidays and New Year at the end of the year.
