According to the Traffic Police Department - Ho Chi Minh City Police, since May, after taking over the task of organizing testing and issuing driving licenses from the Department of Construction, the unit has organized about 220 testing sessions for more than 70,000 candidates. However, there are still about 60,000 people who have completed the training program but have not yet taken the test.
Faced with this situation, the Traffic Police Department - Ho Chi Minh City Police has mobilized the maximum number of examiners, organizing 9 examination sessions per day, including 2 weekends, with a capacity of more than 6,000 candidates/day. The examination sessions take place continuously from 7am 30 to 21 hours, ensuring serious, scientific and proper organization.

The examiners are assigned specific tasks, trained and fully carded. The test scoring and data processing process is digitized, helping test results to be promptly reported to the Traffic Police Department for quick approval and licensing, shortening the waiting time for people.
A representative of the Traffic Police Department said that increasing testing not only addresses the legitimate needs of the people, but also contributes to improving the effectiveness of State management, ensuring order and traffic safety in the city.
Previously, the Traffic Police Department - Ministry of Public Security directed the traffic police force nationwide to focus on resolving the backlog of driver's license testing records, requiring completion before July 30 .
People who are eligible to take the test are advised to proactively contact the training center or local Traffic Police Department to update the test schedule and arrange a timely test time.
