New journey of Gia Lai Literature and Arts
Gia Lai Literature and Arts Magazine was born after the merger of the Binh Dinh Literature and Arts Association (formerly) and Gia Lai (formerly) and gathered a large and potential team of literary and artistic creators. This is a valuable resource that helps the Magazine continue to improve the quality of its content and form and spread it in cultural and artistic life.

The magazine consists of two forms: printed magazine (published once a month) and electronic magazine. The magazine publishes literary and artistic works, research, theories, and criticism; reflects literary and artistic activities in the province, domestically and internationally; contributes to building an advanced culture and literary and artistic foundation, imbued with national identity and rich in humanity. At the same time, it nurtures and nurtures young talents, creating a source of human resources to succeed in the development of the province's literature and arts.
Poet Mai Thin - former Chairman of the Binh Dinh Province Literature and Arts Association (old) - shared: "After the merger, the number of members increased significantly, creating a large team with professional capacity and enthusiasm for artistic creation. With the tradition of solidarity, passion, ability and existing potential, I believe that the Provincial Literature and Arts Association will become a strong, united, sharing and developing common home."
Editor-in-Chief of Gia Lai Literature and Arts Magazine Tran Quang Khanh said: The magazine aims to build a publication that is beautiful and modern in form, high in quality and rich in content and soon becomes a prestigious forum for literature and arts in the country.
To realize this goal, Gia Lai Literature Magazine will open a number of new sections such as: Beautiful Weekend Photos, Land and People of Gia Lai, Literature in Schools to diversify the content, attract readers and create conditions for members to have more forums to unleash their creativity. "This is also a space for members and collaborators to introduce their works to the public more widely" - Khanh added.
Enhance professionalism and modernity
The column “Beautiful Weekend Photos” launched in early October 2025 is expected to become an open art space where members in the East and West of the province can exchange, share works, and learn from each other. Each week, the column will be like a small exhibition on the internet, introducing selected photos, imbued with the breath of life, nature, and people of Gia Lai.

Mr. Dao Phan Minh Can - Head of the Photography Association (Provincial Literature and Arts Association) said: "Through this column, the Editorial Board is gradually building a connected and creative photography community, where each photo is not only a work of art, but also contains a story, emotions and the beauty of the homeland to convey to readers and the public who love photography."

On the basis of launching the new magazine, the Provincial Literature and Arts Association demonstrates a new direction, new thinking and new management, suitable for the development context of a dynamic and integrated Gia Lai. This is an important initial step, creating favorable conditions for the province's Literature and Arts to develop more strongly in the digital age.
Poet Ngo Thanh Van - Vice President of the Provincial Literature and Arts Association - said: "As a magazine on literature and arts, Gia Lai Literature and Arts needs to ensure the specificity of this field. Through literature and art, we hope that the magazine will contribute to making an impression and promoting the image of Gia Lai people and land. In particular, the electronic version of the magazine will be an effective channel to convey information, helping the works to reach readers inside and outside the province."

Meritorious Artist Dang Cong Hung - Chairman of the Provincial Literature and Arts Association - affirmed: "The launch of the publication not only aims to preserve and spread the cultural identity of Gia Lai, but also demonstrates the desire for integration, meeting the requirements of the digital transformation period. Thereby, conveying the cultural quintessence of the two Eastern and Western regions of the province to a large number of readers, contributing to enriching the spiritual life of the public who love literature and arts".
