Training on digital transformation in the education sector for commune and ward officials

On September 26, the Department of Education and Training (DoET) of Tuyen Quang organized a digital transformation training conference for officials of communes and wards in the province.

The conference will take place in 1 day at two locations: Restaurant 123 (Nguyen Van Linh Street, Ha Giang 1 Ward) and the Provincial Boarding School for Ethnic Minority Students (Group 9, Nong Tien Ward). This is an activity within Plan No. 33/KH-SGDĐT dated September 24, 2025, implementing the digital transformation goal and Project 06 of the Education sector.

According to the plan, each commune will send 2 delegates, including officers from the Department of Culture and Society in charge of education and managers or teachers with information technology skills; each ward will have at least 3 delegates. In addition, high schools, boarding schools for ethnic minorities and some units under the Department will also send database administrators to participate.

During the training, trainees were guided by information technology experts on how to use the database software of the education sector at the commune and ward levels; manage personnel records, facilities, update student and teacher data at all levels; assign user rights, exploit reports, personal identification statistics; check the quality of data on school networks, facilities and learning outcomes.

The conference helps grassroots officials master data management tools and form a core team to provide technical support to schools and localities, contributing to improving the effectiveness of digital transformation in the entire education sector.

The training is expected to help the Tuyen Quang Education sector synchronize digital data, increase accuracy and timeliness in management and direction, towards building a modern education system that adapts to digital transformation.
