Training on remote medical examination and treatment for grassroots medical staff

On September 23, 2025, the Department of Health of Ca Mau organized a training course on remote medical examination and treatment for grassroots medical staff supported with equipment sponsored by the KOFIH Project.

Participating in the training course, on behalf of the Department of Health, there were Mr. Nguyen Tan Luc , Deputy Director of the Department of Health of Ca Mau ; Mr. Nguyen Van Bot, Head of Professional Department ; 50 trainees representing 25 Commune Health Stations that have been and are preparing to receive computer support from the Project .

In Ca Mau province, from 2022 to 2023, the model of remote medical examination and treatment consultation using the software "Doctor for every family" was implemented , achieving many remarkable results, creating many good impressions, attracting the attention of the community.

The goal of the Project is to improve access to quality health services for people, especially for ethnic minorities, people with disabilities, and people who still face many barriers in accessing health care. The software "Doctor for every home" is developed and widely deployed at the grassroots health care level as a modern tool to effectively connect people and health workers , between professional levels . This not only contributes to reducing the burden on the upper level, but also promotes the digital transformation process of the health sector, in line with the Government 's orientation on building a digital government and digital health in the new period.

Speaking at the training course, Mr. Nguyen Tan Luc said that with the dedicated guidance of the lecturers who were trained by the Department of Medical Examination and Treatment Management, the National Health Information Center and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Vietnam to become provincial lecturers, along with the active participation of the trainees, the training course will be successful, achieving the expected goals.

Through this, he also sent his thanks to the Ministry of Health , directly the Department of Medical Examination and Treatment Management , thanked the Korean International Health Care Organization (KOFIH) , the United Nations Development Program ( UNDP ) for helping the Ca Mau Health sector with a very valuable tool, supporting the work of caring for and protecting people's health. The Department of Health pledges to continue to closely coordinate with relevant units to effectively implement this Project in the province. It is expected that the software "Doctor for every home" will soon be widely applied, contributing to improving the quality of medical examination and treatment at the grassroots level, reducing the burden on upper levels and improving people's satisfaction with medical services for a very humane goal of not leaving anyone behind and aiming to empower patients in the field of health care.
