“I hope to fulfill my dream and have the opportunity to return to the program in a different role to help more difficult situations.” That is the sharing of Phan Thai Ty - Student of Ho Chi Minh City University of Agriculture and Forestry at the “Supporting Valedictorians” scholarship award ceremony in 2024.
On January 4, 2025, Tien Phong Newspaper in collaboration with the Vietnam Young Talent Support Fund organized a program to honor and award scholarships to the 2024 Top Students with the support of THACO . The program took place at 2 locations: Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.
In 2024, the Organizing Committee awarded scholarships to 60 students in the Southern region and 30 students in the Northern region with excellent entrance results at universities and academies across the country. At the same time, the program also awarded 5 scholarships to students who had been honored in previous years.
As one of the four new valedictorians participating in the exchange program, Phan Thai Ty said: To me, my parents are the most important. My mother had to sacrifice a lot for me to go to school. I will always try my best to become a filial son to my family and a useful person to society.
As for Giang Van Dang - a student at Hue Academy of Music , he shared: "I want to use my music to write about emotions and stories, preserving the beauty of traditional culture for future generations."
2024 is the fourth year that THACO has accompanied the program. Thereby, helping children overcome difficulties, firmly step on the journey of conquering knowledge, while spreading good values, contributing to building a young generation of enthusiasm, creativity and dedication to society and the country.
It is known that from 2016 to present, the scholarship program "Supporting Valedictorians" has awarded more than 900 scholarships with a total value of nearly 9 billion VND, to honor and support school valedictorians, major valedictorians and students with high entrance rankings to universities and academies across the country.
