Thanh Ha suspends 6 cross-river passenger wharves that do not meet operating conditions

Thanh Ha District People's Committee has suspended 6 cross-river passenger ferry terminals that do not meet operating conditions, including: Nhan ferry (Thanh Quang commune), Tu ferry (Vinh Lap commune), Bau ferry, Gang ferry (Thanh Hong commune), Chieng ferry (Thanh Xuan), Sy ferry (An Phuong). Most of the ferry terminals do not have vehicle inspection procedures; and have not strictly implemented the regulations on the Law on Inland Waterway Traffic and related regulations.

Thanh Ha District People's Committee requests the owners of cross-river passenger ferries to stop transporting passengers and goods across the river. If they deliberately do so, they will be held responsible before the law.

The Chairman of the People's Committee of the communes is responsible for notifying and propagating to the owners of cross-river passenger ferry terminals in the management area and is responsible to the Chairman of the District People's Committee if they are still operating.
