Thanh Ha starts construction of 720 billion VND traffic project

Commencement of the Project to Upgrade Provincial Road 390B and Build a Route to Avoid Thanh Ha Town Center

On the morning of January 17, Thanh Ha district held a groundbreaking ceremony for the Project to Upgrade Provincial Road 390B and build a bypass section through the center of Thanh Ha town.

The project is invested by Thanh Ha District Construction Investment Project Management Board with a total cost of 720 billion VND. Of which, Thanh Ha District invests 360 billion VND and the provincial budget allocates 360 billion VND in the medium-term public investment plan for the period 2021-2025.

The project has the participation of a consortium of Joint Stock Companies: Northern Electrical Equipment Construction and Repair; Viet Hoa Construction and Trade; Khang Nguyen Infrastructure Construction Investment and Loan Khai Trade Construction Investment Company Limited.

Provincial Road 390B, more than 10 km long from Hong Lac Commune to Thanh Ha Town, will be upgraded to the standard of a Grade III plain road. The road has a 12 m wide base, including a bypass through the center of Thanh Ha Town. The highlight of the project is the Huong River bridge, consisting of 5 girder spans with a 16.5 m wide bridge surface, and the Ac bridge section through Cam Viet Commune, which will be renovated and widened to 17 m.

The current state of 390B Road with a road surface of only 5-7 m wide is causing many difficulties for traffic. Upgrading the road will not only improve traffic conditions but also contribute to promoting local socio -economic development.
