Inspecting difficult and stuck projects at a number of enterprises in the construction sector

(Chinhphu.vn)- On July 25, the Government Inspectorate announced a Decision on inspecting projects with difficulties and problems at a number of enterprises in the construction sector.

According to the Decision, the Government Inspectorate will conduct inspections of projects with difficulties and problems at the Housing and Urban Development Corporation (HUD); Viglacera Corporation - JSC; Hop Phu Investment and Development Joint Stock Company; Tara Land Real Estate Investment Joint Stock Company; Song Da - Thang Long Joint Stock Company for investment and project management.

This is a surprise inspection conducted under the direction of the Prime Minister .

The Government Inspectorate said that the inspection aims to implement the Prime Minister's Conclusion at the conference on July 17, 2025, the Government Inspectorate on thematic inspection of works and projects with difficulties, obstacles, slow progress, backlog, prolongation, low efficiency, risk of loss and waste.

On behalf of the Inspection Delegation, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh, Deputy Director of Department VI, Head of the Inspection Delegation, announced the full text of Decision No. 670 dated July 23, 2025 of the Government Inspectorate on the inspection of projects with difficulties and problems invested and managed by the Housing and Urban Development Investment Corporation; Viglacera Corporation - JSC; Hop Phu Development Investment Joint Stock Company; Tara Land Real Estate Investment Joint Stock Company; Song Da - Thang Long Joint Stock Company.

Accordingly, the Inspection Delegation consists of 19 members, led by Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh, Deputy Director of Department VI.

The inspection period is from the date of project implementation to July 1, 2025. If necessary, the contents related to before or after the above inspection period may be considered. The inspection period is 45 days from the date of announcement of the inspection decision.

At the announcement of the inspection decision, Mr. Nguyen Duc Dung, Deputy Head of Department VI, Deputy Head of the Delegation, announced the decision to establish a Team to supervise the activities of the Inspection Delegation under Decision No. 670 dated July 23, 2025 of the Government Inspector General.

Representatives of the Companies and Corporations with inspection decisions attending the announcement ceremony, Mr. Dau Minh Thanh, Chairman of the Board of Members of the Housing and Urban Development Investment Corporation stated that the enterprise will strictly implement Decision No. 670 of the Government Inspectorate and the plan of the Inspection Team.
