The Government Inspectorate focuses on speeding up the issuance of inspection conclusions.

Conducted 42 inspections in September

Head of the Planning and Finance Department of the Government Inspectorate, Le Quang Linh, said that in September, the Government Inspectorate will continue to focus on conducting inspections on two topics: Inspection of projects with difficulties and problems and inspection of waste prevention and control in the management and use of houses and land of state-owned agencies, organizations and enterprises.

Specifically, in September, 42 inspections were conducted, including the conclusion of the inspection of the North-South Expressway construction project, the inspection of rare earth and tungsten, and 23 thematic inspections of projects with difficulties and problems reported to the Prime Minister ; 13 are preparing reports and draft inspection conclusions; 13 are conducting direct inspections, of which 10 are   specialized inspection to prevent waste.

Regarding the work of supervision, appraisal, urging, and handling after inspection, according to the Director of the Department of Planning and Finance, the Government Inspectorate, the departments, divisions, and units under the Government Inspectorate are supervising the activities of 14 inspection teams; have completed appraisal reports on 23 draft inspection conclusions of projects with difficulties and problems, and are appraising 1 draft inspection conclusion...

Regarding the work of receiving citizens and resolving complaints and denunciations, in September, the Central Citizen Reception Office in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City received 309 visits with 722 citizens presenting 309 cases. Of these, 25 large groups came to present 25 cases, mainly cases related to land reclamation that had been reviewed and resolved by all levels, but citizens did not agree and continued to complain; 1,151/2,121 petitions were classified and processed.

Regarding the urging of handling, resolving and reporting of the remaining cases out of 226 cases of prolonged complaints and denunciations, which have gone beyond the central level in Hanoi, the Department of Inspection, Settlement of Complaints and Denunciations in the Northern region (Department I) presides over and coordinates with the Department of Inspection, Settlement of Complaints and Denunciations in the Central region and the Department of Inspection, Settlement of Complaints and Denunciations in the Southern region to urge localities to continue implementation; report to competent authorities for consideration and handling of 16 cases with difficulties and problems in policies and laws.

Regarding 210 complicated complaints and denunciations about security and order according to the report of the Ministry of Public Security, the Department of Planning and Finance of the Government Inspectorate has advised on the issuance of a plan to guide, urge, and inspect the handling and settlement; advised on documents requesting localities to review and report on the situation and settlement results.

Departments, offices and units continue to implement the Resolution of the National Assembly, the Government and the direction of the Prime Minister on resolving complicated, pending and prolonged complaints and combating and handling subjects that take advantage of complaints to violate the law.

Focus on speeding up the issuance of inspection conclusions

Regarding the key tasks in October 2025, at the meeting, Government Inspector General Doan Hong Phong requested the departments and offices assigned to preside over the inspection: continue to implement the 2025 Inspection Plan and assigned surprise inspections; speed up the progress of issuing inspection conclusions, especially inspections assigned by the Steering Committee and the Prime Minister.

"The departments and offices focus on leadership and direction according to the "campaign", taking lessons from resolving 226 complicated and prolonged complaints and denunciations and lessons from 70 difficult and entangled projects as experience to conduct their inspections well," emphasized Government Inspector General Doan Hong Phong.

At the same time, strengthen publicity and transparency, improve discipline, administrative discipline, and public ethics in inspection activities.

The Government Inspector General also requested the Department of Inspection, handling complaints and denunciations in the construction sector, to urgently advise on the issuance of an inspection conclusion and report to the Prime Minister .

Departments, divisions, and units focused on advising on the issuance of 23 inspection conclusions on difficult and stuck projects immediately after receiving comments from the Prime Minister; speeding up the progress of drafting conclusions on 13 inspections; continuing to effectively implement 13 direct inspections, including 10 topics on waste prevention and combat.

Request the Department of Anti-Corruption, Wastefulness and Negativity (Department IV) and the Department of Inspection, Complaints and Denunciations Settlement in the Construction Sector to preside over, urge, guide, and summarize the progress and inspection results of the two topics.

The Department of Supervision and Appraisal continues to supervise 14 inspection teams and appraise assigned draft inspection conclusions.

The Department of Planning and Finance shall preside over and advise on the issuance of documents guiding inspection agencies in developing inspection plans for 2026 and advise on the issuance of the Government Inspectorate's 2026 inspection plan after the Prime Minister approves the 2026 Inspection Program Orientation.

The Department of Monitoring, Urging and Post-Inspection Handling shall take the lead in advising on the implementation of the Prime Minister's direction in Notice No. 384/TB-VPCP dated July 25, 2025 of the Government Office; continue to urge and inspect the implementation of inspection conclusions and develop inspection result reports, especially the conclusions monitored and urged by the Steering Committee.

The Government Inspector General requested departments, divisions and units to strengthen coordination with relevant agencies to continue to speed up the inspection progress of cases under the supervision of the Steering Committee in accordance with the spirit of Resolution No. 188/NQ-CP dated October 11, 2024. At the same time, regularly review and hand over the records of the inspection and examination team to the archives according to regulations.
