On May 24, Head of the Organizing Committee Pham Kim Dung, CEO of Sen Vang Company, said that contestants of the Miss World Vietnam 2023, Miss Grand Vietnam 2023 and Miss National Vietnam pageants reported to the organizing committee about receiving fake and fraudulent messages.

Specifically, these subjects pretend to be acquaintances of famous people or influential people to gain trust and then make offers related to buying and selling prizes, invitations to shows, taking photos, interfering with results...

Ms. Pham Kim Dung affirmed that: “All information from those subjects is fraud, taking advantage of the psychological stress of candidates and their families when taking the exam to make profit, these fraud tricks are too old but still take advantage of technology and social networks to repeat every year. We affirm that there is no way to interfere with the judges' score sheets or the final results.

We will provide all this information to the authorities to get help and support in handling these subjects with fraudulent behavior, taking advantage of the trust of candidates for personal gain. The Organizing Committee will also have legal interventions if these subjects continue to affect the candidates as well as the contest, and the contest organizers."
