Weather forecast for the night of September 21: Heavy rain across the country, flash flood and inundation warnings

According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, in the evening and night of September 21, the Northern region and the Central Highlands will have scattered showers and thunderstorms with rainfall of 15-30mm, with some places having heavy to very heavy rain of over 100mm.

In the afternoon and evening of September 21, the area from Nghe An to Hue; the coastal areas of South Central and Southern Vietnam will have scattered showers and thunderstorms with rainfall of 10-30mm, locally heavy rain over 70mm. Warning of the risk of heavy rain (over 70mm/3 hours).

Thunderstorms may produce tornadoes, lightning, hail, and strong gusts of wind. Localized heavy rain may cause flash floods in small rivers and streams, landslides on steep slopes, and inundation in low-lying areas.

Today (September 21), in the Northeast, the area from Da Nang City to Lam Dong and the Southeast region, there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms, with some places experiencing heavy to very heavy rain.
