Reclaiming more than 82 hectares of land for the northern connecting road to Long Thanh Airport

According to the Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board, the total land area recovered to implement the Provincial Road 769E Construction Project (section from Long Thanh International Airport to Provincial Road 770B) is about 82 hectares. Of which, the recovered land area in Cam My district is more than 81 hectares and Long Thanh district is about 0.9 hectares.

The Provincial Road 769E Construction Investment Project has a total length of 7.9km (7km in Cam My district and 0.9km in Long Thanh district), with a road width of 95-115m. The project has a total investment of more than 1.4 trillion VND, from the provincial budget.

Currently, the Provincial Construction Investment Management Board has issued a decision approving the results of the online contractor selection for package 2 (consultancy) to survey and prepare a project feasibility study report. At the same time, it has coordinated and provided the Land Fund Development Center of Long Thanh and Cam My districts with surveys and estimates of compensation costs.

The Provincial Road Construction Project 769E is invested with the goal of connecting Long Thanh Airport to Phan Thiet - Dau Giay Expressway, forming a new connection route to the area north of Long Thanh Airport. Thereby, reducing traffic pressure for the area south of Long Thanh Airport, contributing to reducing the load on regional traffic routes such as Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay Expressway; Bien Hoa - Vung Tau, as well as National Highway 51; T1, T2 routes when Long Thanh Airport comes into operation.
