TPO – There is still more than a month to go until Lunar New Year 2025, but Cam Ha kumquat village (Hoi An city, Quang Nam ) is bustling and busy preparing for the Tet crop. This is the busiest time of the year for gardeners, because many traders have come to place orders early.

Cam Ha Village (Hoi An City) is the largest kumquat growing area in the Central region with an area of ​​dozens of hectares. During this time, gardeners are busy fertilizing, spraying pesticides, and pruning kumquat pots to make it ready for traders to transport.

According to gardeners, the price of kumquat trees this year has not fluctuated much compared to last year, ranging from 500,000 to several million VND per tree, depending on the size of the kumquat. Many gardens have already been purchased, so now they just need to take care of them and wait for the truck to pick them up.

Mr. Nguyen Tan - owner of a kumquat garden with more than 500 trees (Cam Ha commune) shared: "This year the weather is quite favorable, the kumquat trees grow evenly, the fruits are big, the leaves are beautiful. However, this is a key time, so we must take good care of the kumquats from watering and fertilizing to ensure the quality of the kumquats."

Mr. Tan said that his kumquat garden of more than 500 pots has almost all been ordered, so now he has to take good care of the trees so that they retain their beauty when they are handed over to traders to take away.

The capital of kumquat, Cam Ha, annually supplies the Tet market with tens of thousands of pots, mainly sold to the Central Highlands provinces such as Da Nang, Hue, Quang Binh , Quang Tri, Gia Lai...

Many gardeners are taking good care of their plants before handing them over to traders.

This year the weather is favorable so the kumquats grow well and produce big, beautiful fruit.

Many traders came to the garden to buy early.

Cam Ha kumquat village is not only a place to provide Tet ornamental plants but also attracts a large number of tourists to visit and experience. The colorful kumquat gardens have become a highlight for Hoi An tourism at the end of each year.
