Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh: Welcomes CT Group Corporation to go straight into developing advanced technologies

On August 13, at the Government Headquarters, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh chaired a working session with leaders of ministries, branches and CT Group on science and technology development, innovation, digital transformation, especially on the program to develop unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), artificial intelligence and semiconductor technology of CT Group.

The Prime Minister highly appreciated CT Group for its efforts, determination, and investment and development programs and plans that focus directly on advanced technologies, in line with the country's development strategy based on science, technology, digital transformation, especially emerging industries such as artificial intelligence, data, artificial intelligence... in accordance with the spirit of Resolution 57 of the Politburo ; The list of 11 strategic technology groups with 35 strategic technology product groups has been issued by the Prime Minister.

In the spirit of the Politburo's resolutions on science and technology development, innovation, digital transformation; private economic development and international integration in the new situation, the Prime Minister agreed with the program and plan of CT Group, requesting relevant ministries, branches and localities to support and assist CT Group in implementing production and business strategies.

In particular, the relevant parties reviewed regulations and proposed institutional solutions to facilitate CT Group's access to land and production premises; facilitate the Group's access to a VND500,000 billion preferential loan package for science, technology, innovation, digital transformation and strategic infrastructure projects; support the promotion and introduction of CT Group's technology products, contributing to bringing Vietnam's high-tech products to the world market, and have a mechanism for prioritizing orders for domestically researched and produced products...

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh noted that ministries and branches, according to their prescribed functions, tasks and authorities, should consider the organization and implementation of specific and feasible programs and projects, clarifying tasks, solutions, resources, progress, implementation responsibilities and products. The Prime Minister requested CT Group to closely coordinate with ministries, branches and localities to continue to be a pioneer and exemplary in implementing the Politburo's strategic resolutions in the spirit of doing what is said, doing what is committed, and achieving specific results, contributing to the country entering a new period of development.
