Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh inspects the construction site of the 500 kV power line circuit 3.

At the construction site of column 100, 500 kV line 3, Nam Dinh - Thanh Hoa route, in Ha Hai commune (Ha Trung district), Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh gave gifts to cadres, engineers, workers and encouraged their working spirit despite the cold weather.

The Prime Minister asked the contractor to uphold the spirit of "overcoming the sun and rain"; work in "3 shifts, 4 shifts", overcoming all difficulties and harsh weather conditions to soon bring the 500 kV line 3 project to the finish line on schedule.

Although it was dark and the weather was cold, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and his delegation still came to inspect the construction and asked and encouraged the workers who were constructing the 500 kV power line project, circuit 3, in Ha Hai commune (Ha Trung district, Thanh Hoa ).

The Prime Minister also requested the leaders of Thanh Hoa province to pay attention, give drastic and close direction, and promptly remove difficulties and obstacles in the construction process of the 500 kV Nam Dinh - Thanh Hoa transmission line project.

The 500 kV line 3 project from Quang Trach (Quang Binh) to Pho Noi (Hung Yen) has a total length of about 519 km, passing through 211 communes and wards of 43 districts and towns in 9 provinces, including: Quang Binh, Ha Tinh, Nghe An, Thanh Hoa, Ninh Binh, Nam Dinh, Thai Binh, Hai Duong, Hung Yen. The total investment of the project is about 22,000 billion VND, with EVNNPT under Vietnam Electricity Group (EVN) as the investor.

Previously, the Prime Minister and the working delegation inspected the construction and gave gifts to encourage the construction forces at location 201 in Chau Son commune (Quynh Phu district, Thai Binh); location 13 in Nghia Hong commune (Nghia Hung district, Nam Dinh); location 41 in Thuong Kiem commune (Kim Son district, Ninh Binh).

At the inspection sites, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh said that the 500kV line 3 extension project is a key and urgent project, playing an important role in national energy security, especially in the Northern region; as well as in politics, security, national safety, and social order and safety.

The Prime Minister commended the Vietnam Electricity Group, relevant ministries, branches, agencies and localities for their efforts to overcome difficulties, promptly resolve problems as directed, start projects and focus on construction.

At the same time, the Prime Minister requested relevant units and localities to mobilize maximum human and material resources, including local forces, local means, and local materials; uphold the spirit of responsibility, proactiveness, creativity, and urgent construction to complete and put the project into operation in June.
