Prime Minister presents 40-year Party membership badge to Minister Dao Ngoc Dung

(Dan Tri) - Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh stated that this is a noble award, demonstrating the Party's recognition of the efforts and contributions of Minister of Ethnic Minorities and Religions Dao Ngoc Dung over the past time.

On the afternoon of September 17 in Hanoi , Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh attended the ceremony to present the 40-year Party membership badge to Mr. Dao Ngoc Dung, Minister of Ethnic Minorities and Religions.

Presenting the 40-year Party membership badge and congratulating Mr. Dao Ngoc Dung, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh stated that this is a noble award, demonstrating the Party's recognition of the efforts and contributions of the Minister of Ethnic Minorities and Religions over the past time.

Mr. Dao Ngoc Dung was admitted to the Party on December 31, 1984. He has strived, trained, and matured from the grassroots level. He has participated in 4 terms of the Central Executive Committee (from the 10th to the 13th term); was assigned by the Party and State to take on many important positions and has always tried his best to fulfill his tasks well.

Since March, in his capacity as Minister of Ethnic Minorities and Religions, Mr. Dao Ngoc Dung has continued to promote his capacity and experience, together with the Party Committee Standing Committee and the Ministry's leadership, to focus on directing and effectively implementing the Party's guidelines and policies, and the State's policies and laws on ethnic and religious affairs.

Notably, the Minister of Ethnic Minorities and Religions directed the successful organization of the 2025 United Nations Vesak Festival and led and directed the completion of the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses nationwide.

The Prime Minister affirmed that the Party and State have no other purpose than to bring independence, freedom, a prosperous and happy life to the people; not to sacrifice social security, progress, social justice and the environment to pursue mere economic growth. Therefore, our Party and State always pay attention to ethnic and religious affairs.

The Prime Minister requested Minister Dao Ngoc Dung, together with the Party Committee, leaders of the Ministry of Ethnic Minorities and Religions, Party committees at all levels, Party organizations, cadres and Party members in the entire Party Committee of the Ministry of Ethnic Minorities and Religions and the entire sector, to uphold the spirit of solidarity and unanimity, and contribute more to the Government in particular and the glorious revolutionary cause of the Party and the People in general.

Speaking at the ceremony, Minister Dao Ngoc Dung respectfully expressed his deep gratitude to the Party and State leaders and colleagues for always caring, helping and creating favorable conditions for work.

Affirming that he has always tried his best to fulfill assigned tasks, the Minister of Ethnic Minorities and Religions said he was honored to receive the 40-year Party membership badge.

He emphasized that this is an important milestone in his life and also an opportunity to look back at himself, continue to make efforts and try to contribute to the revolutionary cause of the Party and the people.
