The Document Subcommittee of the 17th Gia Lai Provincial Party Congress commented on the Draft Political Report.

Attending the third meeting were members of the Document Subcommittee of the 17th Provincial Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term.

At the meeting, Chief of the Provincial Party Committee Office Duong Minh Duc reported on the situation of synthesizing and building the Draft (first time) of the Political Report of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, term XVI, to be submitted to the 17th Provincial Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term.

Accordingly, the Document Editorial Team has received comments at the meeting of the Standing Committee of the Document Subcommittee of the 17th Provincial Party Congress and supplemented and revised the Draft Political Report, reducing it from 79 pages to 68 pages (51 pages of content, 4 pages of appendices and 13 pages of notes).

At the expanded Provincial Party Executive Committee Conference, the Congress theme was agreed upon: “Building a clean and strong Provincial Party Committee; promoting the strength of solidarity; ensuring national defense, security and social security; innovation; effectively using resources for Gia Lai to develop rapidly, greenly, sustainably, and with rich identity, by 2030 it will be the driving force of the Central Highlands region, striving to be a fairly developed province of the country by 2045”. Regarding the layout and structure of the Draft Political Report, it closely follows the Outline approved by the Provincial Party Executive Committee. The Draft Political Report consists of 3 parts: Evaluation of 5 years of implementing the Resolution of the 16th Provincial Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term; viewpoints, goals and main targets for the 2025-2030 term; tasks and solutions.

Regarding the key programs for the 2025-2030 term, continue to implement the 4 key programs identified by the 16th Provincial Party Congress and national target programs.

At the meeting, the basic opinions were in agreement with the structure and content of the Draft Political Report. Based on the assigned functions and tasks, the members of the Subcommittee gave their opinions to clarify some of the main contents of the Draft Political Report as well as the results, targets, tasks, shortcomings, limitations, etc.

Concluding the third meeting of the Subcommittee on Documents of the 17th Provincial Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term, Provincial Party Secretary Ho Van Nien emphasized: The draft Political Report is the crystallization of collective intelligence, so he requested that Subcommittee members continue to contribute their opinions directly or in writing to the Congress Documents Editorial Team for synthesis. Opinions need to focus on research and calculation based on the potentials and strengths of the locality to propose specific contents and targets, suitable to the actual situation.

On the side of the Congress Documents Editorial Team, the Provincial Party Secretary proposed to fully absorb the opinions of the members, supplement, amend, and complete the Draft Political Report to submit to the Provincial Party Standing Committee, the Provincial Party Standing Committee, and the Provincial Party Executive Committee for comments according to regulations.
