Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Thanh visits and presents Tet gifts in Ninh Thuan

On the occasion of preparing to welcome the Lunar New Year of At Ty 2025, on the morning of January 15, the working delegation led by Comrade Nguyen Thi Thanh, member of the Party Central Committee, Vice President of the National Assembly, on behalf of the Party and State leaders, visited, presented gifts, and wished a happy new year to policy families, the poor, workers, disadvantaged laborers; and armed forces soldiers with difficult circumstances in Ninh Thuan province.

Joining the delegation, on the side of Ninh Thuan province were comrades: Pham Van Hau, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Trinh Minh Hoang, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; representatives of leaders of departments, branches and sectors of the province.

Visiting and encouraging officers and soldiers of the Provincial Police, the Vice Chairman of the National Assembly emphasized: Ninh Thuan has an important geo-economic, political and military position, and is a land rich in historical, cultural and revolutionary traditions. Despite the harshest natural and climatic conditions and drought in the country, the Party Committee, government and people of the province have been determined, persistent, and overcome difficulties, exploiting the available potentials from energy, tourism and agriculture to gradually create positive changes. Contributing to the overall achievements of the province, there is an important contribution of the Ninh Thuan Provincial Police. The Vice Chairman of the National Assembly commended the results that the unit has achieved in 2024, and at the same time welcomed the Ninh Thuan Provincial Police as one of the first two provinces in the country to issue a Resolution implementing the Law on Forces Participating in Protecting Security and Order at the Grassroots Level and as a locality that has implemented this Law very well.

The Vice Chairman of the National Assembly said: 2025 has many important events, this is also the year the entire political system must join hands and unite to carry out the "revolution" in institutional reform, in streamlining the apparatus, in promoting digital transformation, innovation, creativity... to create the foundation and premise for the country to enter a new era, an era of national development. In particular, for Ninh Thuan, the National Assembly has resolved to continue implementing the investment policy of the Ninh Thuan Nuclear Power Project. This is not only an opportunity for our country to develop high-quality human resources, enhance the national science and technology potential, and participate in the global nuclear industry supply chain, but also a great opportunity and driving force for Ninh Thuan to develop rapidly. Therefore, officers and soldiers of the Provincial Police need to continue to promote the implementation of the Party's resolutions and directives, the State's policies and laws in the field of ensuring security and order, especially the National Security Protection Strategy. Proactively develop plans to ensure security and safety for the project, contributing to promoting the socio-economic development of the province. Improve the quality of the fight against, prevention and control of crimes and law violations. Do a good job of being on duty, ready to fight, increase patrol and control forces, ensure security and order before, during and after the Lunar New Year, serving the people to enjoy the Spring Festival safely and healthily.

On the occasion of the new year 2025, welcoming the Lunar New Year of At Ty, Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Thanh presented 20 gifts to the provincial police officers in difficult circumstances and sent to all officers and soldiers of the provincial police her best wishes for a joyful, warm, happy spring, always ready to excellently complete all tasks, worthy of the trust and love of the Party, State and people.

Next, Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Thanh also visited, presented gifts, and wished a Happy New Year to Heroic Vietnamese Mother Nguyen Thi Thieu, Phuong Hai Commune (Ninh Hai). On behalf of the Party and State leaders, the Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly kindly inquired about the health, life, and activities of Heroic Vietnamese Mother Nguyen Thi Thieu and presented gifts to her. She expressed the deep gratitude of the Party and State for the sacrifices and great contributions of her family in the struggle for national liberation. The Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly wished Mother Thieu good health, a long life, and continued to set an example, teaching her children and grandchildren to promote the heroic revolutionary tradition, and contributing to the cause of building an increasingly prosperous homeland.

Expressing deep gratitude for the attention of the Party, the State and the Vice President of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Thanh personally towards the meritorious people, Mr. Vo Quoc Viet, son of Mother Nguyen Thi Thieu, was moved and shared: My family is very honored to welcome the Vice President of the National Assembly to visit and wish our mother a Happy New Year. That is the happiness, preciousness and the attention of the Party and the State towards the meritorious people of the revolution. On all holidays, the provincial leaders come to visit and wish a Happy New Year, give gifts and ask about health, our family is very happy and excited.

On this occasion, the Vice Chairman of the National Assembly requested local leaders to continue to pay attention to and take care of Vietnamese Heroic Mothers as well as families with meritorious services to the country, families of war invalids, martyrs, families of policy beneficiaries, and those in difficulty in the area, both materially and spiritually. We must ensure that every family and every person can celebrate the traditional Lunar New Year 2025 happily and warmly.

Visiting and giving gifts to the poor, workers, laborers, and those in difficult circumstances in Thuan Bac district at Du Long Industrial Park (Thuan Bac) on the occasion of the New Year, Vice President of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Thanh sent her regards and wishes to all workers, laborers and enterprises in Du Long Industrial Park to have a warm, peaceful and happy New Year, continue to promote the achieved results, strive to overcome difficulties and challenges, enthusiastically compete in labor, production, complete assigned tasks, contribute to the socio-economic development of the province and the country. Strive to build Ninh Thuan into the country's renewable energy center and develop socio-economic and political security comprehensively in all aspects.

On this occasion, Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Thanh presented 250 gifts to the poor, workers and laborers in difficult circumstances in Thuan Bac district. She also presented an additional VND300 million to the poor and people in difficult circumstances in the province from the support fund of the Vietnam Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development.

Affirming that the Party, State and organizations always pay attention and try to devote resources to taking care of policy families, poor households, people in difficult circumstances, workers, laborers... to have a warm, full and meaningful Tet, Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Thanh hopes that in 2025, local authorities and enterprises will continue to pay attention and take care of people's lives, especially policy families, poor households, workers and laborers. This not only demonstrates the spirit of mutual love but also strengthens people's trust in the leadership of the Party, State and local authorities.
